Hutt, Henry (American, 1875-1950), Geisha Girl, c.1920s, watercolor, pencil and gouache, signed lower right, 29 x 22 inches, in a thick wood frame 37 x 29.5 inches. Provenance: Harry Eichleay Art Co., Pittsburgh. A lovely example of Hutt's illustration art. His work was printed widely in the popular American press, in periodicals such as Collier's, Harper's, and The Century. In addition, his illustrations and cover art appeared in dozens of books.
