Description
This is a beautiful ice pitcher from Meriden. Is full of markings on the bottom from Meriden, Lyman's Patent from June 8, 1858, And JA & S Timpson from 1854. This pitcher was dedicated to J.W. Luce from 1880 from First Baptist Sunday School in East Lyme in Connecticut. J.W. Luce is believed to be John W. Luce (b1835-d1909). Pitcher is beautifully engraved with flowers and wreaths with tassels. Stands approx 13" tall x 11" wide
