Description
4th-6th century A.D. A pair of fly brooches with ribbing at the necks and delineation of the wings; each with pin and catchplate to the reverse. These fibulae are typical of the Late Roman imports found in the Hun graves of the Migration period in the territory of the Cimmerian Bosphorus. Similar specimens were found in collective tombs of Bosphorean people, mainly related to female occupants. [2]
