Grouping of 5 pieces of Bennington spongeware including a handled cup and 4 milk bowls ranging in size from 7 1/8" diameter x 2 1/4"H to 12 1/4" diameter x 3 1/2"H. Note that one bowl is decorated with stylized embossed leaves extending from rim. The second largest bowl has 2 small hairlines extending from rim, and the cup with tiny chip on edge of base, else the others are in very good condition with no damage or repairs. Mid 19th century. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
