Description
Ulysses S. Grant (April 27, 1822 – July 23, 1885). 2 ½ X 4 signed Cabinet Card. Card has browned and yellowed due to age. Eighteenth President of the United States, first "Lieutenant-General" since George Washington, and Major General (July 4, 1863), he led the Union Armies to victory in the last years of the American Civil War. Signature signed in Black Steel Tipped Fountain Pen at the bottom of card. Signature is a bit light due to age. Comes with a Letter of Authentication from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA), along with the GFA guarantee of authenticity.
