Full of twisted tales, including Hy Fleishman's "Fat-Face," in which a woman fed up with her brother's gluttony kills him and serves his roasted corpse with an apple in its mouth. "The Facts of Death," unsigned and not credited in GCD but seemingly by Bill Savage, features an adoption-and-airplane-bombing plot that combines elements of Johnny Craig's "Rendezvous!" (Crime SuspenStories #16, April-May, 1953) with Craig's "The Tryst" (Shock SuspenStories #11, Oct.-Nov., 1953).
"By issue #19, Story had taken the lid off. This comic is violent and bloody. The cover features a broken-bottle battle and the lead story begins with a gruesome back-stabbing. In 'The Facts of Death,' a woman debates the various ways she could kill her cheating husband: her imagination graphically illustrates the methods: shooting, poisoning, stabbing, strangulation, etc. She finally ends up planting a bomb on his plane." — George Suarez, Tales To Terrible To Tell #5. NEC: 1992, p. 36.
