A collection of 4 brass stamp plates used for embossing the likeness of characters from the American Golden Age of television and western comics. The plates include Annie Oakley, Davy Crockett, Gene Autry, and Little Beaver from the comic strip "Red Ryder." The Little Beaver plate is long enough to stamp the front and verso of a wallet in one pass. Fans could then purchase these wallets, belts, gun holsters, and numerous other leather memorabilia stamped with these beloved characters. The leather wallet included in the collection is new and unused- stamped with the Annie Oakley plate and a floral motif. Size (Little Beaver plate): 7.75" L x 3.25" W (19.7 cm x 8.3 cm); (wallet): 9.25" L x 3.5" W (23.5 cm x 8.9 cm)

Minor abrasions to surface of all plates from use, but overall excellent motifs are still clear and sharp. Dark patina and toning throughout. Wallet is excellent and like new condition and could certainly be used as intended. Wallet has been checked thoroughly and does not come with cash or cards.
