Alice Quam Zuni 8mm-27mm Turquoise and Solid Sterling Silver Cluster Belt - This belt was made by one of the most famous cluster artists of all time, Zuni silversmith Alice Quam. The bracelet is fashioned from sterling silver and decorated with beautiful turquoise stones in tear drop shapes. The bracelet is also finished with traditional raindrops and ropes in the typical Native American style. The belt is marked with Quam's "AQ" hallmark. Measurements: 36"L x 1.5"W. This belt comes from a collection which has been housed in a vault for over 40 years. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes.
