Containing approximately 5,500 color and black and white photographs, Polaroids, and contact sheets documenting the career and private lives of Siegfried and Roy, some duplicates, including a collection of black and white and color photographs taken by Bruce Weber, February-March, 1985, and photographs taken for an article published in Geo magazine, January, 1984. The collection includes publicity photographs, rehearsal and stage shots taken at the Stardust, the Frontier, and the Mirage, photographs taken on vacation, at private events, during television interviews, at birthday parties and Christmas, with Roy's mother and various family members, and their menagerie of lions, tigers, cheetahs, domestic cats, dogs, horses, and birds, the photographs offering a fascinating insight into the private lives of Siegfried and Roy with their beloved big cats as well as their magical career on the stage.
