Description
19th Century Spongeware/Pottery Pitcher. Spread Eagle under spout with a shaped body modeled with dead game. Handle is shaped as a hound. Attributed to James Carr South Amboy New Jersey. Has chip under spout and chip on base. Hairline cracking in glaze on bottom of pitcher. Otherwise relatively good condition. Measures approx. 9" tall x 10" wide. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale. All items are shipped with Liveauctioneers Live Shipping. Local pickups are in our South Brunswick location on Friday, Saturday and Monday ONLY!
