A large baluster goblet, circa 1710-15
The generous round funnel bowl with a solid base containing a tear, resting on a small half knop above a bulbous teared inverted baluster stem, over a conical folded foot, 22.5cm high

A similar glass is illustrated and discussed by Delomosne and Son, The Baluster Family (1985), pp.8-9, no.2 where the absence of a basal knop is noted as quite an unusual feature in a glass of this date.
