A Worcester chocolate cup and stand, circa 1770
Of double ogee shape, the two rococo scroll handles delicately pierced, decorated with a version of the 'Rich Queens' pattern with panels of elaborate Japan-style plants alternating with underglaze blue bands heightened with gold foliate scrollwork, stand 14.5cm diam, square marks (2)

The rare openwork handles are only seen on Worcester chocolate cups with the most elaborate decoration.
