A Derby coffee cup, circa 1756
Of square section with canted corners and a wishbone handle, delicately painted with two colourful kingfishers, one beside a tree stump, the other in flight, the reverse with a loose bouquet of 'cotton stem' style flowers, another flowering stem to the side, with a brown line rim, 5.8cm high

A very similar coffee cup from the Zorka Hodgson Collection was sold by Bonhams on 10 September 2008, lot 142.
