In good overlall condition, the applied shells being well-coloured and undamaged. There are three tiny chips on the underside of the rim which are very hard to see. There are a few craze lines in the glaze, one in the top left hand corner of the painted panel and one on the underside of the rim, just below the top left hand corner. This is very slightly stained brown. Examination under an eye glass reveals a few further fine craze lines on the underside of the rim. The gilding is in good, bright condition.
