Five decorative table boxes, including brass, wood and porcelain examples, size of the tallest example is H. 6.5 in. x W. 10.5 in. x D. 6 in., Provenance: from the estate of Edwin L. Cox, Dallas, TX through Hindman Auction to present owner.Condition: Fish example has some light edge chips. Nailhead-decorated-trunk-form box has some light wear to the leather-like surfaces and lid hinge is loose but intact. The larger brass example with some white deposit (cleaning residue?) and verdigris in crevices, has lock with key. Smaller brass example displays some abrasian, dents and scratches from use, the lid requires some effort to close. The lid of the porcelain example with some minor loss to the decoration but intact.
