Description
Large Chinese export silver model of a ship or junk, outfitted with sails, oars, figures, cannons, anchors, and pikes, together with a smaller manned rowboat, both fixed to a carved hardwood stand simulating ocean waves. Chinese hallmark to left side of stern deck. 14 1/2" H x 12" L x approx. 7" W. Additionally fitted with a 20th century wood stand and glass dome that does not accommodate the ship with flags extended. 16 1/4" H x 14" dia. Likely Qing Dynasty, Late 19th century.

Condition
Ship overall good condition with very light signs of wear, some very slight bending to a few oars. Missing one oar as well as a couple of figures and pikes. One flag banner atop mast is missing. Silver content unknown.
