A selection of Ayn Rand's letters, beginning with a letter written shortly after she emigrated from Soviet Russia to the US, and throughout her life as an author, screenwriter, philosopher and founder of the Objectivist movement. Many of the letters include a response from the recipient, or explanatory notes about the correspondence.
Original dust jacket with a color photographic portrait of Rand taken by Phyllis Cerf, apparently at the Random House offices in New York, unclipped original price of $34.95 on the front flap, tan paper-covered hard boards; black cloth spine with silver lettering; 6" x 9.1/4"; xxii + 682 pages including Introduction, Preface, Chronology of Events, Appendix and Index; very good near fine condition.
