A Victorian sterling silver milk jug, Sheffield 1850 by James Dixon & Son

Of baluster lobed form upon four acanthus scroll feet, C scroll handle. The body with engraved foliate scrolls with lattice work reserves, engraved to the side with a crest of a demi – talbot rampant, holding between the paws a ducal coronet. Fully marked to the neck.

Height – 15.6 cm / 6.15 inches

Weight – 287 grams / 9.23 ozt
