Description
A George II sterling silver pint mug, London 1743 by Henry Brind (reg. 6th May 1742)
Of baluster form upon a spreading circular foot with a caulked rim, the double C scroll leaf capped handle with oval junctions. Engraved to the front with a contemporaneous crest of a lion rampant holding in it’s paws a cross crosslet fitchée. Engraved underneath with initials GW in Roman script. Fully marked underneath.
