Antique 1880s Scrappy Bars Arrangement quilt measuring 75 x 86 inches. Alternating strips of on point framed squares with scrappy rectangles. A thin blanket is the batting, with a fabulous turkey red print reverse. Hand pieced and hand quilted, knife edge finished with a perimeter of hand stitching, English style. A note on the back states the quilt was purchased in England in 1997. In fair condition with overall toning, spots, fugitive purple, two small wear areas, and a small hole on the back.
