FRONTIERSMAN / NATIVE AMERICAN HAMMER POLL TOMAHAWK / AXE, triangular shaped blade with sweeping underside, long cylindrical tiger maple haft with shaped metal inlays at collar and butt end bearing remnants of old white paint. Late 18th/first quarter 19th century. 18 1/8" LOA, head 5 5/8" L, blade edge 2 1/4".

Very good overall condition with expected wear, head with some pitting and corrosion, losses to white paint notably to butt end.
