Chinese ,Han Dynasty ,beast creature with head of tiger and body of lion, S shaped body boldly carved with tail flicked around over haunches, the stripes and tufts of fur finely incised, wings carved to both side of the front body, the stone a blackish tone with chalky white inclusions and russet enhancing the back and the legs

Condition: the carving is in overall good condition ,there are expected minute nibbles to the fragile extremities with tiny sections possilbly lightly polished
