A pair of Chinese famille verte rouleau vases, dating from the 19th century. There are mirror vases with the panels within the design having the same theme but painted differently. Two large panels on each; the gated area of stone which delineates the countryside from city, with tall mountains in the distance, and the other panel showing a warrior fieast withfod coming from the kitchen and grouping of male figures surrounding a central main figure. Side panels have leaf design with a tiger figure, an oval with a magpie on a branch, and a crane panel. Other side Deer within a leaf panel, and a magpie and crane. Neck window openings depict foo lion with clouds and a hybrid creature. Each with a six character stamp on base within double blue circle.
