An Egyptian green steatite amulet in the form of the crocodile god Khenty-khety
Late Period, circa 664-332 B.C.
Naturalistically carved, with a full moon and crescent headdress, finely incised scale details, the mouth and eyes well delineated, set on an integral rectangular base, pierced horizontally through the chin support, 5.5cm long
