Rare Double Ikat Geringsing Ceremonial Textile, Indonesia, 19th-Early 20th C. Sacred textile, geringsing "cicempaka petang dasa", made of handspun cotton in warp and weft (double) ikat technique. "Cicempaka petang dasa" means "forty flowers". Size: 5'6'' x 2'1'' (168 x 64 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
