CYPRIOT MIDDLE BRONZE AGE POTTERY JUG OR TANKARD Middle Bronze Age, Ca. 1900-1650 BCA handsome red burnished pottery tankard or jug with a bulbous lower body, and tapering cylindrical upper body/neck that terminates in a thick, overhung rim. A pierced lug handle seated between the body and the neck. A strap handle that rises above the rim is attached at the mouth and lower body. The body and neck is decorated with the four-pronged instrument design. Item comes with a professional historical report from Ancient Report Specialists.
