Folio, disbound. [2], 1047-1062 pp. *********** One of the so-called "Intolerable Acts" passed by George III as punishment of the American colony of Massachusetts following the Boston Tea Party. The Massachusetts Government Act sought to greatly diminish the colonists control of their own government. The anger generated by the Intolerable Acts would eventually give birth to the American Revolution.
