Description
1688 Indenture between The Right Honorable Richard Lord Lumley (later the 1st Earl of Scarborough), his wife the Viscountess, the Honorable Edward Russell, Charles Bates and Thomas Adams for a parcel of land in what appears to be Astall in the Parish of Easthall on July 6, 1688. Is during the reign of James II, and is just prior to his flee to France. Is signed 4 times at the bottom and is a wonderful piece. Framed and matted and had normal wear to the paper from age. Frame measures approx. 32 3/4" tall x 35 1/4" wide. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale. All items are shipped USPS or UPS and will be billed separately. A $12 handling fee is added to the shipping price per lot if shipped in house. Some items or large quantity of purchases will be packed and shipped via the UPS store. Local pickups are at our South Brunswick location on Friday, Saturday and Monday ONLY! All pickups are by appointment only. Any condition issues will be listed in the description.
