Description
ATTRIBUTED TO WILLIAM WEBB OF MAINE, CIRCA 1820. Mid 19th Century. The bulbous font with mid-band molding fitted with a double wick burner joined to a turned standard on a stepped circular base. Much of Webb's foundry material was discovered by a very old antique dealer many years ago in Owl's Head, Maine. It was believed to be the only American brass foundry extent. SIZE: 8? h. Condition: CONDITION: Very good overall.
