Light, scattered foxing and a marginal stain affecting a few of the last pages.An eyewitness account of key events in Revolutionary War-era Boston. Hewes was a devoted patriot, surviving the Boston Massacre, playing a big part in the Boston Tea Party, was twice a privateer, and twice a member of the militia during the Revolutionary War.
