Pair of Continental Fruitwood Armchairs
late 19th century, each with a scrolling domed cornice above a pierced and shaped splat, joined by shaped acanthine-carved arms to the padded seat, raised on cabriole legs headed by winged cherub's heads, joined by a shaped stretcher and ending in scroll toes on blocks.

Condition
Both are in good sturdy condition. No sign of damage or repairs. There is wear to the arm tops and the
finish is worn down to the wood in some areas leaving it slightly lighter in color. They are beautifully
carved. The seats show wear and sag in the middle.
