Description
Early White Co. Georgia 3gal Jug Circa 1830s this White Co is a outstanding example of early antebellum stoneware form North Georgia. The jug has a strong from and classic strap handle with a earthy oatmeal alkaline glaze. The jug has three concentric lines on the top shoulder and has a tapered forty degree lip. These are one the highly sought after early forms of White County and hardly ever show up in this good of condition. This jug is on overall very good condition for age, with a minor rim chipping around the top rim of lip. No hairlines or major chips or repairs. Fresh example out of a South Carolina collection.
