Chest-shaped with slightly domed lid, on five sides gallant couples or flower arrangements in relief and purple painted shellwork frames, the lid with bust portrait of the French King Louis XIV in oval frame on grisaille background, the inside completely gilded. Porcelain with coloured painting and gold decoration, gilded mount. 9 x 15,2 x 11 cm. - Gold somewhat rubbed, small chip on the front rim. // Kleine Schatulle 19. Jh. Truhenform mit leicht gewoelbtem Deckel, auf fuenf Seiten galante Paare bzw. Blumengebinde in reliefierten und purpurstaffierten Muschelwerkrahmen, im Deckel Brustbild des franzoesischen Koenigs Ludwig XIV. in ovalem Rahmen auf Grisaillefond, Wandung innen ganz vergoldet. Porzellan mit farbiger Bemalung und Goldstaffage, vergoldete Montierung. 9 x 15,2 x 11 cm. - Gold etwas berieben, kleiner Chip an der Vorderkante.
