An Absolutely Splendid "Packsaddle" Sycee of 5 1/2 Taels. China Qing Dynasty, Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding (19th-20th Century, Silver, 189.5 grams). This lovely, natural medium grey specimen is unencumbered and entirely appealing in every respect. This is the first such packsaddle sycee that we have handled in any of our auctions, and we should mention that the consignor of this VERY RARE and highly prized ingot has been in possession of this item for at least four decades. Bid liberally or forever live with the anguish of having let this opportunity slip through your fingers!
