Description
A fine English tall case clock by William Lawson of Newton-Le-Willows, marked on the dial. Features variable chime and moon phases; case is of flame mahogany, the bonnet decorated with ormolu mounts and verre eglomise panels. Dimensions: H 91" x W 23.5" x D 11" Condition: Movement not tested or professionally inspected. Apparently missing finial; previous restoration work evident. Antique patina and wear consistent with age and use.
