Description
Group to feature eight individual paper documents, with original Civil War related items pertaining to Henry Fraley (66th O.V.I.) including;

Muster-In Roll, original Civil War document presented as a folded single sheet, both with printed and written details, to First Lieutenant Henry Fraley of Company A, 66th Regiment of Ohio Veteran Volunteers, dated 27 May, 1865 (Raleigh, North Carolina) signed by Fraley, with additional signatures (illegible). 17" x 11" inches, very good for age with mild toning to paper, creases from folding, some minor surface distress but overall with sound integrity and no significant damage.

Single sheet document on ruled paper with hand-written details in ink, containing a list of garrison equipage transferred to Captain Robert Simpson by Captain Henry Fraley, 66th O.V.I. dated 30 June, 1865, with signatures from both, 8" x 12" in. Very good condition with mild toning, creases from folding, and light surface distress, overall with sound integrity and no significant damage.

Civil War 'Final Statement' presented as a single sheet, folded document, both printed and hand-written, addressed to Henry Fraley by Captain R.E. Plunket, Company A, 66th O.V.I. regarding his discharge promotion from First Lieutenant, dated 26 May, 1865, Bladensburg, Maryland. 8.5" x 11" inches, very good condition with light toning, creasing from folding, no additional damage.

Printed and signed Merchant's National Bank check, Harrisburg PA, printing personalized to Henry Fraley China, Glass and Oils (Fraley W.H. & Co.), signed by Henry Fraley, undated (blank, 1890's). 9" x 3" inches, good condition with mild surface wear.

Four individual receipt documents addressed to the Willey family of Ashtabula, OH, dated between 1868 to 20th century. Fair to very good condition for age.

NOTE: The association between Henry Fraley and the Willey family is unclear, although the documents were passed down together and are being offered, as found, within five individual lots (please see lots #187-#191). Henry Fraley (born circa 1839 or 1840, Cumberland Co, Pennsylvania) occupation listed as a farmer and later merchant, was enlisted on 5th November, 1861, from Campaign County, Ohio, at Urbana, as a private of Company A, 66th Regiment, Ohio Volunteers Infantry under Captain Charles E. Fulton. After several promotions in rank, he was ultimately appointed Captain of Company H. on 14 June, 1865.
