Elvis Presley 1.00ctw Diamond and 14K Yellow Gold TCB Necklace Given to Denver Policeman Ron Pietrafeso W/LOA and Letter From Priscilla Presley - This 14k yellow gold TCB necklace was given by Elvis to personal friend and Denver policeman Ron Pietrafeso. The pair met in 1969 after Elvis performed a concert in Denver and stayed in the city for a few extra days. Elvis and Ron talked about many things, including how much Elvis liked visiting Colorado in the winter for snowmobiling. Elvis eventually asked Ron if he could help arrange a house in Vail for Elvis to return to Colorado the following year, and much to his surprise Elvis actually did contact Ron the following year and invited him to come along on the trip. They eventually became friends having personal conversations about Elvis' career and Ron's career as a policeman, as Elvis was fascinated by police work. Elvis invited Pietrafeso and several other police officers to be his personal guests at one of his concerts in Las Vegas, where he eventually gifted this necklace to Pietrafeso, although it did not contain any diamonds. Ron went on to tour with Elvis helping with security, visit Graceland and have the King as a guest in his home. After several years, one day while on tour Elvis looked at the necklace and told Joe Esposito that Ron had "been around long enough and done a good job" and that he needed diamonds added to his TCB. Joe took the necklace and returned it back to Ron about a month later with all of the letters lined with diamonds. This necklace is incredibly rare and is thought to be one of only seven diamond TCB necklaces known to have been given.
