Vintage 14kt .50 CT Diamond Engagement Ring, Sz. 6.75, Two-Tone. Six prongs hold this appx. .50 ctw diamond which sits up over the band. A mid-century solitaire diamond engagement ring that is classic basic design. The band is yellow gold nad the basket and prongs white gold. Weight of the ring is appx. 2.05 grams. The band is 1.5mm where it meets the diamond setting and widens to 2mm and then tapers back to 1.5mm at the back of the finger. Marked 14kt and tested. It is not signed by the maker. The diamond is appx. G/H in color, VS1. The ring would benefit from a professional cleaning. There is some residue in the setting and while I will lightly clean jewelry I can say that this would look better with a professional cleaning to remove the hand lotion residue under the stone. I have been told by many buyers that they prefer the piece as is when it is vintage because of fear of what people use to clean it, loosening stones with rough cleaning, etc. I will clean upon request prior to shipping. Otherwise this is in very good vintage condition and the stone is one of the nicers stones I've gotten in my years of buying estate pieces. (INV. W. 41021.17X6 JJ LD 4/19/21).
