Vintage 14kt Diamond Engagement Ring, Sz. 6, 1940's. Illusion Setting Two-Tone white and yellow gold. Stepped design with the main diamond being appx. 2.5mm round set in a wider shite gold square setting with the illusion that the diamond is larger. On the lower step there is a single round diamond on either side that is appx. .8mm wide also set in white gold with an illusion look of another stone between that stone and the base of the setting of the larger stone. The ring is appx. 6.2mm down the finger and 15mm across the finger. It is marked 14kt and tes ted and signed CR. Very good condition. Weight is appx. 2.95 gr. The diamond does have a light surface scratch seen under magnification. Color is appx. J. These rings then and now are very nice rings made with the illusion of a bigger stone and with nice detail to the design to enhance the budget pricing. (INV. W.1420.10X SS3219 J LD 12/5/20).
