Description
Two 19th c. Utagawa Kunisada (Japanese 1786-1865), Edo period woodblock prints, comprising, the female side of a diptych, 1858, "Ch. 30, Fujibakama," from the series Lingering Sentiments of a Late Collection of Genji depicting a woman in a beautiful kimono holding beads; together with the center panel of a triptych, 1853, depicting actor Nakamura Tomijûrô II as the Earth Spider Spirit, with seals, both framed. Image approx: h. 14", w. 9.75". Overall: h. 20", w. 13", d..5".
Condition
Both prints cut down, glued down, with creases, and moth damage, colors are bright.
