C.1970 Emilio Pucci velvet maxi skirt with a coordinating wool challis top. Both pieces are designed with the Emilio Pucci name incorporated into a botanical print depicting what appears to be laurel fronds in shades of gray, brown and khaki green outlined in black on a magenta background. The lined maxi skirt zips at the side with a snap on the waistband and a front slit. The wool challis top buttons at the front with collar, cuffs and side vents. Both pieces are labeled and were sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue. Marked a size 12 though the pieces best fit modern day U.S. size 8, and possibly size 6, with attention to the following measurements. The skirt is in very good condition with a number written on the lining under the label which might be from original manufacture. The wool top has moth damage including some prominent holes on the collar and smaller holes scattered throughout.
