An antique oval miniature painting on plaque depicting a portrait of a lady in the Rococo style, after the original painting by Francois Boucher, French, 1703 to 1770. Inscribed, Boucher, to the center right. Circa: late 19th century. Framed. A hanging loop on the top. Francois Boucher was a French painter, draughtsman and etcher, who worked in the Rococo style. Boucher is known for his idyllic and voluptuous paintings on classical themes, decorative allegories, and pastoral scenes.
