Rated as Rarity-4 (31 to 40 known) according to Fred Reed. This very collectable example would be fully EF but for one small natural internal mica lamination case from Jefferson's right cheek to the right moon. The 1861 Thomas Jefferson U.S. postage stamp issue itself remains original deep brown, the mica is unbroken yet the lamination causes some haziness. The case is a lovely lustrous Extremely Fine+, golden-chestnut in color, having defect free smooth surfaces. Surprisingly scarce, we have not offered another 5 Burnett's Standard Cooking Extracts since 2011. Overall, this is a very collectable example.
