salt-glazed, each of beehive form with strap handle and Albany-slip glazed interior, comprising a "2" gallon capacity mark Northeastern example, having rounded flat top mouth, and a designated three-gallon capacity Midwestern, possibly Red Wing, example. One having brushed cobalt double bloom spitting tulip design and other example with cobalt slip-trailed decoration. Second half 19th century. 15 3/8" HOA.
Provenance: Estate of A.W. Francis, Marion, VA.

Excellent condition, tulip example having minor flake to mouth.
