Condition
The case is a little dirty and has the odd nibble to the edges, particularly on the curved front. The right hand side of the base has some repaired areas, where large old chips have been glued back into position. The rear right foot is a little bent.
The ormolu mounts are all dirty and dusty.
The dial is fair to good - there is nibbling around both winding squares. The root of the hour hand has an old repair. The numerals are good, there are other minor chips to the edge of the dial plate at 12 and 3, although once the bezel is closed, they are not visible.
The movement will need professional attention - the strike train is fully wound and will not release. The going train will wind, but will not tick.
