A LATER 19TH CENTURY MINIATURE ROSEWOOD AND MARQUETRY INLAID THREE TRAIN FUSEE MANTEL CLOCK OF SMALL SIZE the arched top case above stop reeded quarter columns and scrolled sides on a break-front plinth base and shallow bun feet. The 5" engraved silvered brass dial with two subsidiary dials to the arch above a Roman chapter ring fronting a good quality chain driven triple fusee eight-day repeating movement with lever balance wheel escapement, quarter striking on a graduated series of eight bells and a further bell for hour strike - back plate engraved by the retailer Grimshaw & Baxter London (31cm high 27cm across base )
