A FINE LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH CARVED OAK COMMODE OF GOOD PROPORTIONS the thick cut rouge marble top with moulded edge above a relief carved base fitted with two drawers flanked by scrolled leaf carved caryatid supports; the central panel depicting a female playing musical instruments with a winged seated cherub, flanked by blowing cherub heads with Rococo style leaf carved decoration.
