DESCRIPTION: Antique French lacquered wood vanity table featuring a hinged latching lid containing a mirror at the interior alongside striped red and white silk interior lining; Composed of four bowed legs overlaid at the upper corners and feet with bronze, forming flower and foliage depictions in relief with openwork at the feet as well as bronze trim around the tabletops edge, while the skirts are inlaid by ornate symmetrical marquetry scrolling foliage designs and the tabletop has fine marquetry depicting roses and a bird with a mother of pearl inlay at the eye.
