Large Patinated Bronze Plaque, 19th c., of the British royal coat of arms, "Honi Soit Ou Mal Pense, Dieu et Mon Droit," H.- 38 1/2 in., W.- 30 1/2 in., D.- 4 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Dr. Peter Elwood Dorsett, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition
Handsome example. Do not have the capacity to weigh, however it is pretty heavy and to be carried and installed safely we would suggest having two people. There are holes throughout for mounting. There is heavy oxidation throughout per normal age.
