The hardboard is sound although some of the layers are separating in the corners of the reverse. There is fine stable carquelure across the work. To the far-right of the upper edge, there are two vertical lines of cracking to the paint each measuring approximately 50cm and spaced approximately 10cm apart. Upon close inspection, there are some scattered small scuffs to the sky. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor, scattered lines of retouching to the sky with an additional horizonatal line of retouching to the left of the lower edge.
